Overview
Our Bird Pellet Feed is a complete layer pellet for birds in lay, whether you keep six in a back garden run or several hundred on a smallholding. It is formulated around the two things that matter most to anyone collecting eggs daily: shell strength and yolk colour. A generous calcium level supports consistent shell formation through a long laying cycle, while natural pigment sources bring yolks up to a deep golden colour.
Because it is a pellet rather than a mash, every mouthful carries the full formulation — birds cannot pick out the parts they like and leave the rest, so nutrition stays even across the flock and waste stays low. The pellet is sized for comfortable feeding by birds of all standard laying breeds, holds together in the feeder without turning to dust, and can be fed as a complete ration alongside fresh water and grit. Metabolisable energy is 3,050 kcal/kg.
