Overview
Our Koromo Koi Fish Feed is the feed for the parts of the year that catch pond keepers out — early spring, late autumn, and the mild spells in between. As water temperature drops, a koi's digestion slows well before its appetite does, and a rich summer feed can sit undigested and foul the water. It is chosen for how easily it breaks down in a cool-water gut.
The result is a lighter pellet that keeps fish fed and conditioned without overloading them. It brings koi gently out of winter and settles them back down again at the end of the season, with a softer, quick-softening pellet that is easy to take at low temperatures. Many keepers run it as a year-round staple and reserve the growth and colour feeds for the peak of summer.
